A little suspension work and the srt-4 is a monster.
You're right. I'm thinking more and more about the SRT-4.

I am pissed off at ford of america. Get some balls and just make the cars. They are all worried about the ALL MIGHTY COBRA and GT! Who the hell cares about the GT? Sure...its a nice car, but WHO THE HELL CAN AFFORD ONE OF THOSE?!?!? If they were smart, they would look at Subaru's sales as of the last two years and realize that these type of cars SELL!

Get rid of that damn SVT focus...GET US THE RS!!!

what we need

is an RS with AWD for about 25 grand, subaru has the WRX, and if any has ever drove one, you know they kick some ass, and the STi for only 30K and it will keep up with the cobra....if the RS sells for 34K+ in europe, any one else see this as funny besides me?I wanted to get a 2.5 RS but couldn't afford it at the time....The focus rocks, and is cheap and that's why I'm driving one, and I just love the way this little thing looks....but ford could do much better, specially with factory equipment, and if they would work with some aftermarket people, unlike the stupid salleen focus, over 22K and what do you get? a body kit, WOW....ford is really starting to suck....

A Viper, huh?? I don't think Ford is EVER going to make a compact car that can hang with a Viper....

Uh dude I hope you were meaning the BMW M3 not Z3, any one who has run with a Z3 one or driven one can tell you they are not bad at all but any v-8 sports car will eat it hell the infinity G35 will smoke it, and I mean the sedan, now the M3 that's a performance machine not to be underestimated

Umm, yeah. I thought that too. Of the three cars focus44 listed, the Audi and the BMW seem logical as a pair of similar cars (and cars that a more powerful Focus could hang with), but then what's with the Viper?? A Viper? You're gonna need a Corvette and some money left over for mods to stay with a Viper...

once again dude, the prowler will be smoked by just about anything, ever seen the supercharged nitrous prowler it still barely ran mid 13's....prowler is a looker not a performer( much overpriced than what they are worth)...yeah and audi's S4 or the new RS8, both of which will show a TT who it's daddy is....but the Vette, M3, M5, Audi's S4 and the RS series, STi they are all similar in performance. There will never be a production focus to compete on this level, unless you were to take everything from an STi (soup it up) and somehow install it to the focus, which would prolly cost astronomical amounts of money, but would be pretty crazy and would prolly compete easily, but the only ford that will be around recently to be able to play with the big boys will be the new GT....but then again I could be wrong....
I'm rambling on after a long night of work, the bed is calling....but yeah think about it or something

Saw the RS on ebay for 31,000 USD.... A lttle pricey! (UK shipping only!) I would spend about 25,000 for a US version, although I prefer less! (new at dealer.... - A plan!) LOL
