The 93 tune anything to brag about? I was sent an email describing what it could do and they threw out some pretty God numbers as far as torque and horsepower go, but i was wondering how it does from a person who drives it..i am super interested in it.

I can't confirm or deny numbers because I haven't done a dyno (and current numbers would include a lot more mods than previous charts anyways), but I will say this-I absolutely love it. Driveability is so much better than pre-tune, and I could never break the PS3's loose before it either. While some of that is engine and some is DCT, the car is a whole other animal than before. I swapped to the 87 tune a month or so ago thinking I would save the $.50 a gallon, and I reaffirmed to myself that 93 is the only way to go.

In fact, I see you're in Knoxville, TN. I'm currently living in Huntsville, AL, so if you want to meet up one of these days you can drive it and formulate your own opinion. It wouldn't exactly be an apples-to-apples comparison, but people love driving my car (with the exception of my coilovers...).

Just hit me up via pm if you're interested so we don't completely detail the thread.

Sure thing.
And i see we have already taken this thread and moved it into a different direction completely, lol. i was told that with a custom intake installed injected found "some" loss of gains, both in hp and torque, due to heat. I wasnt told how much "some" was. Have you done any comparison tests to see? I would imagine with all other things the tune changes that a hp or two not being there wouldnt be much to fuss about.

Stainless, correct? Also, do you by chance have the weight of the system vs. stock?

Correct our production system is stainless. Not sure of weight difference. I'm thinking maybe close to the same. But haven't weighed either

Where did you hear this stuff from? As for power I can't say in any direction because I don't know for sure without a dyno, but the tune does affect driveability a lot-even with all the mods that I've done. If you haven't heard this directly from Injected then I would question some of the information.

Even without dyno work, there are a lot of people that just can't 'feel' the changes in their vehicle. This isn't just tune-related as I've seen intake threads that reflect the same information: someone had 'x' part on their car and it was great, then they removed it and didn't notice a change. And this is despite clear information showing that 'x' part adds a certain amount of power.
