I'd just like to add that the FSwerks kits are the only ones to my knowledge that come with a flange.

If you have a Pzev model, the cut/clamp kits such as the Magnaflow won't delete your second cat.

I'd otherwise would have already gone with Magnaflow, but I want to delete my second cat since I don't live in a Pzev state.

Without a tune or any other modifications an exhaust system, custom or kit, will give you pretty much the same results. Most power equals the perfect balance of exhaust exit velocity and exhaust exit restriction. Only trial and error on a Dyno will provide you with that.

But with the money and time you would invest in that, I would recommend tuning as a way to get the full potential out of an exhaust system

here is a picture of the PZEV Model Exhaust. The second Cat comes after the flange that connects the header to the exhaust . The second cat is then followed by a muffler/resonator; So any aftermarket exhaust should remove the second cat. Borla/Ford Racing, FSwerks, Magnaflow should all remove the second catalytic converter.

is the stock resonator a perforated design or louvered? Anyone have experience with the flowmaster 40 series on 4 cylinders?
