01 zx3 Question about rear knuckles

Have an 01 zx3 and I just got done replacing the rear shocks today just before this major snowstorm (phew). However something odd made me hop right online and check it out, and I cant really find the right answer so i thought I'd turn to here for better luck.

The knuckles one the L & R sides are not the same? The mounting point for the shock on the driver side is kind of mounted directly to the back of the knuckle and only has a through bolt and a weld nut on it.

The right side has the kind of U shape that the shock fits into and gets bolted through both sides of the U.

Is this factory? Because It seems awfully different and the car is a lot bettr than it was but it still has a little bit of a loose feeling going around corners.

Thanks guys for an answer

Someone could of changed the out. Loose feeling around corners? Have you checked the alignment? Hows your tires? How about the rear hub bearings? Is the rear arm bushings wore out?
