Wow! That wide body you made is killer! I would love to do something similar one day when funding allows for an all out insane build. Right now I would be happy with just a running car!

I look forward to future updates!

Well to be honest, if you think I am rich and have a lot of money you are wrong.

We build this up with a very small budget. Its because I have a talented mechanic at hand. he can do almost everything and he doesent ask for payment for his work.

So the only costs this ride was generating were:

- Raw materials (Paint, Metal, Repair Parts, ect)
- Fees for Streetlegality Check-up
- Permission Documents

Well I am not saying it was cheap but it was alot less then when you have to do it at a local tuning store

The work beeing free we cut the budget down to like 75%

A workhour for Tuning and repair is estimated for like 60 - 80€ / hour / worker. So we played with thoose numbers and made an imaginary price for this whole build:

Around 500 workhours + materials would have costed like 45.000€ so far.

Would.

I paid alot less. I just owe my friend for life now probably What I wanted to say: If you have a good friend with some knowledge at hand and you can also do some stuff on your own, it isnt impossible to build such a ride with a low budget.

I can believe that. as of right now my money goes to living expenses first and the Focus has taken a back seat to everything else I do, mainly because it is stored an hour drive from me where I don't see it in front of me everyday. I need to start saving my money and spending more intelligently then I will be able to begin making it drive-able again. I love that you are willing to put money into what here in the U.S. would be consider a crap box throw away car.

People say that in germany too...

Focus is a crappy ride noone wants to drive. Ford in general here...

But I learned the MK1 is a pretty dependable ride and was Car of the Year 1998 for a reason. But most germans are drolling all over their Volkswagen, Audis and BMW so much that they dont have a taste for anything else.

Thats why I build up my Focus to what it is going to be. To make their One of a Million Audis & Volkswagens look like crap in all aspects.

I only have one right now. But the drives are still missing as we wait for them, so the car cant drive on its own at the moment.

Quick update:

The custommade drives and the Cougar gauge just shipped. If everything goes well we can take the Focus for a testdrive this weekend. Will make a video if it happens :)
