Wheels wheels what to do?

Well it is getting close to getting new wheels for my baby and to be honest, cash is a big problem. I decided that i was going to buy wheels because i have the 14 in steelies and to be honest, they arent the hottest things outthere and i hate to buy new tires for the steelies because the tires are on their last leg. I don't want to use the 14 in badboys anymore.

I've been looking around the web and trying to do some research but as far as tires and suspension, i'm a newb to this shit. I want to spend a max of 800 for wheels and tires. and i need your opinions on what to get. I am most likely going to go the rim/tire packages so suggesting just rims won't do.

I wouldn't mind buying used but it seems that finding something you like wheelwise seems to be impossible when you have the money for it.

I was looking at a pair of rev model 10,

http://store.wheeloutlets.com/revmo1017w.html

any opinions or experience with them?

i was also looking at rotas but outside the slipstream, are there any that fit the focus?

I am a big fan of the 5-spoke wheels so if anyone has any suggestions it would be appreciated. Most likely i will be buying in the next few monthes and i want to feel out my choices.

if you're on a budget, check out www.discounttiredirect.com or www.wheelmax.com

being in buffalo, unless you have dedicated winter tires, make sure you get a decent all-season tire.

1) avoid REV at all costs

2) check out websites that have search engines built in to filter out stuff that won't work on your car. good examples are:

www.tirerack.com
www.tires.com
www.wheelmax.com
www.wheelsnext.com

this will make it easier to search. the bolt pattern and offset of the focus narrows your options considerably already.

don't trust these search engines on their own, though. know that you need a bolt pattern of 4x108 (aka 4x4.25") and an offset of somewhere between 42-49mm (assuming 7" wide wheel).

You should check out www.wheelsnext.com I bought mine from there (Rims/Tires + Balancing/ Locking Lug Nuts, and free shipping for a little over $800. They have many selections, and the prices are even cheaper than when I bought mine I think.

well were are about 1.5 hours away from you.......the 03 SVT 5 spoke and Hankook Ventus tires = $800 + $66.00(tax) = $866.00 Total

Or 5 Spoke Tuner Wheel and hankook tires = $860 + 70.95(tax) = 930.95 Total

Personally i like the 5 spoke tuner wheels or 10 spoke tuner wheel

i know that its more than what you wanted to spend, but you dont have to wait for them or worry about them getting damaged in shipment. You can either pick them up, or if let me know im planning to go to niagra falls sometime soon

its $866 including tax.....that would be the total. Mount and Balancing is always free from us when you buy a tire package......this is the deal we do with that rim/tire combo all the time.

in a month let me know, i probaly will be going to Niagra Fall sometime in Febuary and we can meet somewere and you can get your rims/tires....no waiting for shipping, no worring about damage etc.
