I would presume once you've had it aligned it will be fine thereafter...the only setting your messing with when you lower/higher it is the camber which in most cases cannot be changed unless you have adjustable top mounts.

This isn't correct at all. Up front, camber is the only measurement that will still be in tolerance as the Mk3 doesn't need adjustable camber plates. It will toe out and negative caster instead, though you can leave the caster alone if you choose as it won't bump-steer.

In the rear you will indeed need camber arms.

Cheers Dyn085 I wasn't 100% on it but I had FK coilovers on my golf when I had it aligned the guy said it should be fine if you adjust it again, but never actually said what if anything it would adjust.

I'm just thinking of putting the H&R springs on my ST at the moment, im only keeping it 2 years I'm waiting for the RS to come out then I might look into better suspension.

My thoughts on car mods is that if you're doing them, go big or dont do anything. When I bought my coilovers i was between KW and d2, and i went with d2. I picked them up for $950 shipped and I could not be more happy with them. They let me go how low i wanted to go + more. Ride is pretty bumpy, but thats because im riding so low. Only complaint is that when I make sharp right turns they make an obnoxious creaking sound that can be heard over my catback. Ive been told that it does that because they are new, but there are no signs of the noise deteriorating. But i do love them!

Are you going to do a right up on the D2's? Also, can you provide a couple more pics of your car for reference?
