Gasket between upper and lower intake manifold

Pulled my engine and transmission today.

The coupler between the upper and lower intake manifold on one of the ports was completely wrecked.

I thought that I had done this from being too rough removing the engine/trans, I did knock out half of the manifold but after pulling out the gasket it looks like it's been this way for a loooong time.

You can see where the clamps were holding the thing down.

I saw that both CFM and Top Speed make kits.

Any recommendations? Would it also just be as simple as some coolant hose and clamps? Or is there something special to these kits?

Typical, been there, done that. Surprised you haven't been seeing the dreaded CEL for P0170 (or 0171?) trouble code.

The one advantage of the factory couplers are seats for the hose clamps. The straight hose approach means the clamps need to be seated and tightened carefully, and a snug fit to the mani's.

EDIT: Those clamps in the top speed kit are sweet- the typical hose clamp is a LOSE! compared to those.
But on their page: Availability: 6-12 Weeks EeK!

You're like a match maker. I can't find it though; did it already get taken down/sold? My searchpowers are failing me here.
