AEM CAI to Volant install questions

I'm currently running the AEM CAI and I just bought the Volant & the ram air top piece for it. My question is what parts will I need to get the Volant installed? I found an old thread but it's missing pics and I can't tell by looking at the ones that are still there what parts they used.

What parts do you have now? All you really need is the elbow coupler to the maf, which bolts to the Volant box. That's pretty much it.

Inside the Volant box, you should have the filter and the round filter coupler.

you wont really need much , heres a photo of mine , i used the stock tube put it through the volant box and attached it to the air filter , although i used an aftermarket filter because the diameter of the opening on the volant filter is slightly bigger if i remember correctly.

Just to update this, I had none of the stock parts and have to buy them before I can install the volant. It's sitting in a box on my floor with the ram air top lol... sigh.

2000zX3sct, looking at your picture I just need the rubber elbow bit and the oem maf circle thingy (technical term). I'll see if I can't locate them online today and get them shipped. I've had my volant sitting in a box for far too long now.

Well the MAF housing is proving to be a bit of a pita to source. Standard ztec/mustang ones as far as the eye can see but no 3" ones for the svtf. Time to check aftermarket, maybe someone makes a cool red aluminum one or something.

I may have a spare maf housing for the Svt floating around, but if I do it's in my sorage unit and I won't have a chance to look till I'm off work on monday. I can take a look for you if you don't happen to source one by then.

I haven't bought one yet and if you have one i'll take it off your hands. If you have the rubber elbow piece as well then lets make a deal :)

So I found my spare airbox, so I have both the maf housing and inlet elbow. Are you still interested?
