I would wait until Thursday morning to see. I was chatting with my Ford rep at the dealer and he said that most Ford employees haven't even seen it yet.

Mmnnnbllahhhmmmm. Ok. Doesn't look like a huge deviation from current look. Agreed on the fusion-ish look. And yes, I too agree mustang should lead Ford's line, not follow. Longest running model ever deserves to look the part.

That said, I do like it. My first thought about some of it, Ford stole some X-brand styling. But, as long as they dress up the GT some, I think it'll work. They'll sell a ton anyway-50th year.

A few additional photos grabbed from a video that has since been removed.

Personally, I think the design is the best in 50 years. Anyone who complains about "oh it looks like XXXX car" is blind and ignorant and a few other adjectives. If by looking like XXX car you mean it has wheels and body panels, then yes. It looks pretty bland.

Enough of the (expletive starting with the letter 'F' deleted) retro dash already.
Are they trying to appeal to owners of PT Cruisers?

Considering it looks nothing like a PT Cruiser... I'm not sure what you want the dashboard to look like?

It looks like a "Mustang" dash. That is exactly how I expect a Mustang to look on the inside. I think it would be stupid for Ford to design something completely unrecognizable.

i like the sides and the rear treatment of the car. Looking forward to what the GT and other higher end models will look like. I am going to reserve judgement on the interior until I see it tomorrow
