Idle was exactly the same and since its a manual I don't notice any difference between the tune and non-tune as far as throttle response goes.

I believe that even if it is a manual, there should have been better throttle

Well the thing that was different about throttle is hard for me to explain, but I'll try.

While stock and in first gear (or any gear) at a low RPM it seems like it is not opening the throttle plate all the way with the throttle floored. Like the computer knows how much air it can use and only opens up part way.

With the tune it seems in the same situation that while floored no matter the RPM it is giving it full open throttle while floored.

So there is a difference in sound with tuned vs not, with stock it is quiet because it seems like it isn't full open, while tuned it sounds louder because the throttle is being opened fully.

Whether or not this is truely the case I do not know, but that is the way it seems.

Interesting.

I've been running injected's 93oct tune for months now and thought it made a noticeable difference in drive-ability (especially since the most recent updates). I'm going to go back to stock and see if I notice a difference or not...

I've been through this with them. If things haven't changed they won't refund you. Pretty much refused when I asked after quoting directly where they said they would.

To the op: did you ping injected about this? I have a 2012 auto and the tune has really added driveability to the car ( and I do not have the transmission tune). I can tell a pretty big difference from stock to 87, and a really big difference from 87 to 91. Perhaps your tuner didn't properly load?

That's why you pay for these things with a CC. If they came back and say they won't refund you when they actually said they would. Slap them with a charge back. Good luck dealing with a CC company like AMEX with being a small business.
