those angle shots would be a tough photo shop, plus you won't see it well with the shadows already in that area of the shots

I"m not proposing a huge top to bottom of the bumper graphic, just something to mimic the SVT black out, so it would be on the bottom 3rd of the bumper and curving like the SVT part

I was just thinking about this the other day.
I would like to take a cutting tool or something and just cut out a nice section of the bottom and insert a black plastic grill.

Or perhaps begin some fiberglassing.

that's way too involved for me, haha, least on the daily driver focus

I'll keep my major engery and efforts on the mustang.....that baby has had everything changed and upgraded on it, heck I took the stock seats out and redid the interior in Volvo S40 Dark grey leather with heat warmers :)

keep the opinions flowing

Large pieces of vinyl that are supposed to look like something else almost always look tacky. Also, if you put it around the tailpipe cutout area of the bumper, it will melt for sure.

It all depends on how well it's done, but I have a feeling this isnt going to work the way you want it to. The best way would be to get the SVT lower rear grill and have your bumper cut out to fit it.. except I dont think the contour is the same, and the cost for a bodyshop to do it would make it worthwhile just buying the SVT bumper. Maybe look into getting a rear lip to match the color of your front, that might look a lot better and not be *too* expensive.

well I'm not talking about a large piece of vinyl here

at most it is going to be 4 inches wide and not the entire length of the bumper

I'm hoping that my dark colored car will allow it to blend easily and also with the fact that it will be matte black vs. glossy i'm hoping for it to look good

I've looked for rear lips and nothing looks good to me, so.....

still gotta visit a local sign shop and get a price on a strip of vinyl, but looks like it will run me bout 15 to 20 bux

I don't really get it.. so you want a little black rectangle sticker on the bottom of your rear bumper? I think it'll look more like a blank bumper sticker than anything else.. out of place and without function.

I'd stay away from vinyl unless you want a real graphic or pattern or something.

Yeah it's basically to mimick the SVT rear grill look, that is what he's getting at.
