Thanks for the comments guys.
Time for some more updates

Now it was time for sone shiney stainless steel under the car ;)

Bought an cat back system from FSW ad had the midpipe custom made without a mufler.

The Original system:

the new system:

It really looks and sounds beautiful.
I also planned to had a decat custom made but they did not have the conectionplate from the cat to the manifold so that will come later.

I had had some problems with the alternator so i replaced that for a new one:

Last summer i took a trip to the U.K. to go to FordFair. i don't know if you heard about this but it is the biggest ford event in europe on the silverstone racetrack.
Had a blast beeing there and i will definatly go again someday.
Since i was in the U.K. i also took a trip to Burtonpower to collect some parts a had ordered for the ST170 and also parts for my other project car wich is an 1987 Ford escort rs turbo.

For the ST170 i bought a new K&N57i inductionkit becous the previous owner of the car never cleaned the one that was allready on, so i could not get it clean anymore.

i also ordered a full samco silicone hose kit for the ST170 and some cleaning products:

I noticed the valvecover gasket was leaking a little bit (sweating) so i took off the cover and replaced the gasket. Took the liberty to put a fesh colour on the cover:

Primed the plug cover:

Not very happy with the result of the tekst on the plug cover.
I did it with a small brush but i will have a do over next spring.
I really like the blue/white colour combination also under the bonnet.

After a few month's it was finaly time to get the custom made decat fixed up under the car:
The Original cat and flex pipe:

This was the bad boy i had to wait for all these time:

Also upgraded my Buefinn chip to the highest tune:

Finaly it was finished and could notice some power change.
So very happy with that. Now the sound also got a bit louder.
A little bit to loud for my likings so i will plan to get an extra muffler in the midpipe.

After all the power upgrade modifications it was time for an other dyno run.
Went to the same dyno as last year ande now it made 188 BHP and 222 NM of torque. nice numbers of course but to be honest i was hoping for a bit more.
So there will be some plans for gaining a bit more power without going overboard with an turbo or compressor conversion.
But this is pretty much where i am right now so when i got some new updates i will post them up here.

That leaves me only to post again some pictures of the dyno run:

To be continued
