Bought these tonight. Couple it with the rear disk brakes and in time a coilover set and the back is shaping up nicely. Granted a less chunky butt (non-stock bumper) would be nice.

Setbacks

1-Ice storm
2-Blizzard
3-Mandatory OT/Emerg Service
4-After Effects
5-Some mild illness
6-Wiring harness for sedan will not transfer to the hatch. A Zetec Interior (not dash) harness will not work. ugh.

DAY 13 ends early...

day13 - Well after all this ice, snow, and cold it is time to rip into this one.

day13 - This one not as much.

day13 - Early on this day i thought i'd see daylight.

day13 -"I'm sorry but we have no seats left."

day13 - Always hated that thing.

day13 - Not as fun a pull as on a hatchback.

day13 - Sans rug in no time flat.

day13 - Quite a pile in said amount of time.

day13 - Ok now onto this, lets see what we have...

day13 - Oh... Hmm... Not good... Not good at all. Work stopped here. Ugh. -R

day14 - Time to get back after it and lot of items to check off on this one. So nice out that we left the door up.

day14 - Good weather and back at it. Got some good help too who wanted to get into the project and not a
bathroom remodel. So he got after the fuel tank drop.

day14 - Pretty easy deal, the canister was a bit of a pain, but we had that out later.

day14 - Pile growing of course. many items just stay in the car for storage but they have to come out for work to commence.

day14 - I set to tackle the dash. This time i wanted to take out the whole show without undoing all the wiring and crash bar.

day14 - quickly undo the bottom after getting all 7 major bolts.

day14 - Wheel work. Volume adjuster mount on column didn't survive but no big deal.

day14 - Just about ready to make this happen.

day14 - Get these outta the way...

day14 - Don't need this we need to put the car back in the driveway.

day14 - Here we go!

day14 - The insulation pad on this one was much nicer than mine but likely not needed.

day14 - Success. Very pleased and this will save many hours of work later.

day14 - Here is said tank. We took time to put a rough mark down on the chassis to make a fuel pump door hatch to make
life easier when pump needs to be serviced.

day14 - The canister out now, bit of a tough cookie.

day14 - Next attention went to the harnesses we will be working with a ton later on as i've mentioned.

day14 - Not really needed but he felt like pulling it.

day14 - Started to get this ready, no need for that old inner liner.

day14 - Started to get this ready, no need for that old inner liner.

day14 - Had to pull the fender for that washer tank and portion of the loom. Silly how they switched sides.
Not a huge issue again.

day14- Meanwhile he was working the other side.

day14 - You wonder what car's mpg would be if they could cut down on some of this shi....

day14 - Gettin naked in there...

day14 - Mocked it up real quick and it works well!

day14 - Just another look as we were packing up.

day14 - Meeting of the minds?

day14 - What a mess...

day14 - The wiring really made my father think bout old cars in the old days and how much simpler they were.

day14 - More 'stuff'.

day14 - Packed up for another day. -R

I used wires, motor, ecu etc from a 2007 zx3. The car it all went into was a 2000 zx3. I had to use the 2007 harness from dash, under the seats, and all the way back to the rear wheel arch. The rear hatch harnesses should be similar to the sedan. If they arent, let me know ill go to the junkyard and take a look.
