Valve Drop Milage

Recently, I have seen a lot of people ask about milage for the dreaded dropped valve seat. So, lets see if we can put together some information in one place.

Please respond to the poll ONLY IF YOUR SPI HAS DROPPED A VALVE SEAT. If you have not dropped a valve seat, please put your current milage in a reply to the thread, but don't answer the poll.

If you have dropped a valve seat, please answer poll, and if you could reply with a more specific milage, that would be very helpful.

Edit: If I did it right, you should be able to answer the poll multiple times, if you have multiple valve seat failures.

Defending the reputation of the red-headed step-child of the focus world for far too long.

Not a focus, but my old 1.9L escort dropped a valve at 240,000 miles. Surprised it went that long
