Bought a new to me Focus - rare parts

So... a shop near my work told me about a car a customer was wanting to sell. I had known the car from a while back when it needed some brakes and they were confused as to what was on there..

It's a Blue 04 ZX3 with a duratec and automatic. 165k miles

Mods - Focus RS Sparco seats and steering wheel
13" Cobra brakes and some sort of rear disc swap
SVT shocks/struts with some sort of lowering spring?
Ford Racing SVT wheels
Ram Air hood - What brand is this????
Borla Catback
Full length CAI

Anyone know the history of this car?

Oh no, definitely not. Even with the driver seat torn, once I realized what this car had. It was mine.

Neither have I. It appears to be for an svt since the ram sir is supposed to go to an airbox near the cowl.

Plans for this car are to fix whatever the previous owner damaged by hitting a curb with it. Might need an axle, subframe, or trans. Will see when I have it in the air in my garage.

After that is fixed, it will become a road course car. Currently use my 93 SHO, but this should do better being lighter, and with the Cobra brakes. But it will need more power, so I will slowly learn about modding a zetec compared to the yamaha in my SHO.

Ask the michigan people in the Great Lakes Fanatics section about it, one of them might recognize it.

Luck!

(Sounds like you'll have fun with it, plenty of useful info. avail. here)
