Don't like the breather tubes next to the MAF sensor might be the problem oil from blow by or turbulence. Just a thought..

The doo-hickey inserted into the tube and connected to a wiring harness plug is the MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor. The other two tubes are for drawing gasses from the valve train back into the combustion chamber to be re-burned. They appear to be too close and maybe the oily gasses are fouling the MAF sensor. Take the sensor out and clean it with MAF spray cleaner (you can find it at auto parts stores) do not touch the sensor and just spray it real good. If it gets better then you know that is the problem. Then get a new intake. I suggest the Injen. ;-)

I just looked at some pictures on their website. Poor design. It blows oily gasses right onto the sensor. Dump that thing and get something else.

I follow a guy on instagram and he swears up and down by this intake. Perhaps maybe you should go get the code read at like advanced auto or something? I know my filter fell off of my KN typhoon one time and it threw a code..

Does it have a bracket holding the filter to car can't see one if it is underneath it? The way these engines move around so freely might be toughing codes from vibrations. Stock is mounted to a box securely mounted to body and very flexible rubber hose between it and motor. Also might have stressed one of the wires in plug for MAF like said earlier have codes checked and if the MAF is ever so slightly damp that's not a good thing.

Your poor car :-( sort've like he said ^ I'd go back to the stock intake, do the new mission mod, snorkel delete, and swap in a k&n filter. Do you rally race on the weekends?
