Lightbulb What cat should i get

i have 160k miles and i need new highflow cat... engine code 5 but the one i have is 3 bolt from headers and 2 bolt on flex pipe side pls help me fine a cat please....

I don't trust ebay and I want a new one.. and also u have to get aftermarket everything.. everytime I do get aftermarket it never fits perfect.. my budget is bout 400

Just get an O2 cheater..... or get the one from CFM...

I'm weary about those high flow cats though.... most of them are junk! I went through 3 of those things.... the welds kept breaking at the back of the cat where the pipe angles upward.

Yea, theres warranty on it but how much of a hassle is it when you have a broken cat and the manufacturer says "Yea just send it back, we'll fix it no problem!!"

OK, so now you have a car with a missing piece of pipe..... waiting for it to arrive, get fixed, and get shipped back. Ugh! I'm very bitter about the whole cat situation, I just went ORP to save the headache.

Here are some pics of the carnage the very first time....

Anyways.... your decision.... its really the ONLY decision. Unless you opt for the ridiculously expensive SVT Cat from Ford, or an ORP. Good luck with your purchase!

(sorry to rain on your parade because I know thats what it seems like, I was just trying to express my experience with this HFC thing)
