Style vs Function

For style, there's no question the 18s are cooler. As much as I like the 16s, they're pretty common, and those 18s are pretty rare and would look great on your car.

For function, the 18s will handle better (sharper steering response due to shorter tire sidewall being less flexible) at the expense of ride quality (for the same reason). You have to decide which is more important to you.

When I was much younger I always gave handling a higher priority than comfort. I'd say go for the 18s. If you decide the ride is too harsh after you've lived with it for a while then you can sell them and get 16s. That would probably be easier than going the other direction. Depending on the kind of driving you do, you may become addicted to the sharper handling and even prefer the firmer ride. (Until you get real old.)

Focus Titaniums and STs that come from the factory with 18" wheels also have a steering rack limiter to prevent them rubbing the body in extreme conditions. It increases the turning circle significantly according to comments from people who own them. That could be a real disadvantage, but I've read comments by owners who have put 18s on aftermarket without changing the rack limiters and they have not had any problem with rubbing nor lost much of their turning radius. Something to be aware of, though, if you go with the 18s.

We need photos when you're done, either way.

On second thought ...

Sorry, I missed this comment before I made my last one recommending the 18s. If they're damaged, I'd skip them. I'm not sure what you meant by "2 wheels can't be balanced ('cause a road hole)" though. If there's any question about their integrity you'd want to have them x-rayed. I don't know if there's any (or enough) iron in the alloy for magnaflux to work. No idea where to have that done or how much it would cost.

@arco-zakus
TY for all your help
I'm really thankfull
What I was trying to explain was that one 18" wheel can't be balanced 'cause some pre-damage on the wheel... I do have to take it to a tireshop to double check

I know!
I might need 2 center caps, I already have the PN:
6M21 1003AA

I'm gonna stop at my local FD after work to find out the price!
Any guess?

Mine came with them, so I don't know how much they cost. Are some of them not good or something? All the wheels seem to have them.

My bad, while I was trying to clean the wheels, I pulled them out and I broke them...
:(

I bet my local FD is gonna charge a lot for them ($30-35USD piece)
Damn I hate myself!
