Finally Installed My Remote Starter in 2013 Focus

Ok so its finally getting cold here in Midwest and I finally got around to Installing my Viper 4203 1 Button 2 way remote starter. To all you installers out there or guys wanting to save a buck Ill give you a heads up that no one could tell me till I attempted it myself. If your doing a stand alone remote start since your key has everything you need IE locks, trunk, and panic. You can save yourself a good amount of money and headache and use a Directed 556UW with a new blank Ford key either a blank SA key will work or a new uncut laser key that a Base Fiesta has. I've worked with DB-ALL and PK-ALL and while good when doing a full system not good with stand alone remote starters. They have freak issues and have to be reset to the system. the 556UW goes under the dash and has a wire loom your put over your keyed ignition and has a blank uncut key in the box at all times chipped with your code during programming. its always there and the car will never have issues with starter. Also the amount of money you'll save!

Viper 4203 - $35
Directed 556UW - $15
Blank Key - $10
$60 total I had invested in my remote start! I could barley get a 2nd remote for Fords Bi-Directional system for that much!

Also, I did a 13 Fiesta Today as well for my Dad going into it thinking it would be as easy as my FoFo, NO WAY! Fiesta Wiring is hard, even the base "S" was a pain I had to get a 3rd key cut and programmed to make the 556UW work correctly with ignition thank god I met a great local mobile key cutter who got me out of a Jam able to keep 2 OEM keys but still $60 is a lot cheaper then any shop or Ford would charge and using all Directed products.

I have a few extra NEW 556UW's I'll be posting in the classifieds shortly cheap just a heads up for you guys and also for all you guys in Chicago land/NW Indiana area if you ever need a key for ANY car! if you have 2 keys, 1 key, or NO KEYS he can do it! I watched his CAD machine make a key for the 13 fiesta it was pretty cool look up

He can come to you he's mobile, or you can save and go to him,
