It also depends on how much bigger of a bar you're putting in. More than a few mm increase in diameter and you should be able to feel the difference (assuming you're pushing the car hard enough). Put a big enough one in and the handling balance should feel great.

How much did that cost you? I'm comparing prices between FSWerks, Steeda, and Massive.

I don't drive my car hard, but installing a swaybar from a 2001 Wagon made the car feel much better in my every day driving!

The standard issue sway bar is 18mm (I think it's 18?) and the SVT bar makes a good upgrade at 21mm (I'm pretty sure it's 21mm?) Much bigger than that and you're looking at a serious change in handling characteristics, not really suited for daily driving.

I have the stock 18mm bar and it's good. I'd like to upgrade but it really is balanced well-enough that I don't feel that I need to upgrade immediately. It might be something I consider for next autocross season.

Miller88, you're already through your motor mounts at 37k??? You're kidding! I'm up to 45k and my stock mounts are still picture perfect. If you want a stock replacement for the rear mount let me know; I'd be happy to send you mine. I recently installed the VF mount and my stock mount appears to be fine.

Stock rear sway I thought was 20mm or 21mm, and a 18, or 20mm up front. I wish I could find the text I sent with the sizes.

I get the growling through the dash on cold start and when taking off from a stoplight. Which mount did you replace? The Hydraulic mount on the passenger side fender?

My car had a lot of city miles when new.

I get that noise too :/

The rear is a 20mm, MAC I just comfirmed it. The front is a 21mm on the SES coupe and sedan.
