SCT flash tuner issue

I just tried to do a canned tune on my 02 SVT the tuner did its thing and said "complete". I disconnected the tuner and tried to start the car, it wouldn't crank the starter. I put it back to stock and it fires right up.
Does anyone have any suggestions or had the same issue?

Who did the tune? Did you buy a used SCT?

It's a used tuner. I've never used one of these cheap tuners before, I had the livewire on my Mustang but have upgraded to the TSX and had those dyno tuned. I'm just looking for a decent canned tune for the focus and don't really want to go all crazy with a synonym tune.

I believe some of the tunes with the svt are not interchangeable. There's a code behind the glove box that the tune coordinates with. Something like that.

Apparently the SF by SCT(not the SF3) is only compatible with 03 & 04.... Seems very strange to me but that is what I've been told.
