The RS in the picture has a different taillight and the lens cover itself is colored "smoke" instead of using a tint or spray. In general I'm not a fan of tinted tails.

Yes, I have DGR coilovers on it. They make the car look wayyy better and they handle a lot better as well. As for the tails, even I'm not sure I'm sold on them. I don't like the taillights on the zx3/5 really, but I love the front end and how it handles so I put up with it.

alright, I finally decided to get down to it and see where I was losing coolant from. it was a slow leak so I couldn't see it dripping anywhere. I left the car running and finally saw some fresh drips. I traced them up to a hose connecting behind the engine that was leaking. I drained the coolant and when I went to take the hose off, the nipple it was on broke! fortunately, there was still a segment left that had actually formed a small lip from stretching and breaking. im guessing the nipple was cracked in the first place which is why it was leaking. I cut about an inch off of the hose, (after getting absolutely covered in antifreeze), and stuck it back over the nipple, this time with a worm/hose clamp. I tightened it down real good and it stopped leaking! only time will tell how good the fix was though. heres some pics:

a little blurry but heres the finished product:

and hopefully my car will stop steaming and smelling of burnt antifreeze! :D

That's the nice thing about owning a svt, very reliable, and if your a do it your self person, you will have max $100-$200 fixes once in a wile. Just keep up on general maintenance and the car will last forever. I have seen boosted svts with over 200k on stock internals no rebuild.

so I really like the white rims on the sonic blue look and decided the plastidip ought to be replaced with a real paint job! I was originally going to spray paint them and try a clear coat and everything out of cans, but then I decided on something different. ive always wanted to get into painting and try spray guns soo, I bought one! And UPS kindly dropped/threw it off on my driveway today.

so it will be a bit of an experiment as ive never used any sort of spray gun before but I think with a little practice it should work! Im pretty excited about this and hopefully will get started in the next couple weeks once I get all the supplies such as an in line filter for the hose and the paint, primer and clear. im thinking like a pearl white would look pretty good.
