ford Focus MK1 Seat swap to Fiesta?

Hi,
I would like to upgrade my saloon in my ford focus MK1 to MK2's saloon.
I have a few questions,
my first priority is Ford fiesta (from 2009), does someone might know if that direct swap?
does all MK2 versions(2004 - 2009) seats are direct swap with MK1? or only until 2007?
and does the backseat of 5 and 4 doors version are identical?

thanks

Dude, chill out on the posting and don't be afraid to use the google search.

2000-2004 is MK1 and then 05-08 are mk1.5

All foci front Seats from 00-07 and 08/09 coupes have the same mounting points.

Things to consider, if you have base seat they suck. I know my 03 zx3 has more hug that is satisfying enough. SVT seats are pretty much the best. There are also ST seats, but I can't tell much of a difference between them and my zx3 seats, once again both kill the plain jane base model seats. There are side air bags in some 01 models, SVT seats, and I think 05+? so You might confuse the air bag module on the swap. Depending on the seats you choose you might also have to swap seat belts, weight sensors and other various SRS equiptment that needs to be hooked up correctly.

Most of this information does not help anyone outside of North America. Also, some of your information is wrong for North America. The OP is in Israel, look at where he/she is from and also the pic of the car helps(not in all cases) to determine where they are from.

nivsheme - The MK2 Focus is a much larger car, nothing will swap over without a lot of modification, if even possible at all. Best bet would be to find some ST170 seats.

1st gen (North America) 2000-2011. First facelift 2005-2007, 2nd facelift 2008-2011

N.A. did not get a 2nd gen

3rd gen (North America) 2012-present

Worldwide (excluding North America)

MK1 1998-2004 with 1 facelift between 2002-2004

MK2 2005-2010

mk3 2011-present

Are the 08-09 seats any more comfortable? I dont mind getting seat covers if they dont match or something the stock seats just are not comfortable and kill my lower back.

I disagree.... Recaro's are the best! They are made with soo much more quality and care from the seat pan side brackets on up.
