Headlight Restoration/upgrade help

My headlights are really scratched up, looking to repair them but don't know how. Any tips?
If not, how hard/expensive would it be to upgrade to OEM H.I.D.'s?

I tried the 3m head light restore which requires a drill and it really made my fog lights look A LOT better. Be careful, I feel that you get what you pay for. So spend the money on a good kit and not the cheaper ones. The 3m one I got off Amazon for around 15 bucks, and I was pleased with it.

Here's what they look like. They're very pitted.

I used the Sylvania Headlight restoration kit. It worked great. No drill required. And it should take 30mins. But it took me 45mins cause i took my time and did a good job. Dont do it if you think it might rain. Lol. I did and the UV coating needs time to dry and i had to put the car under a tarp to keep it dry.

i have a write up in the review section somewhere around here
I used the mothers power plastic4lights along with really rough to super fine grit sandpaper, like, 400-5000 wet with 10 steps in between. cleaned my machs up really nicely. they had spent a hard 10 years in ND without cleaning before hand

Wow, thanks all. I think I'll have to take a trip to Canadian tire this weekend.

+1 for the headlight restoration kit. You'd be amazed what some elbow grease can do.

Since no one else has commented on this part yet, I'll say the OEM Mach HIDs are totally worth it. The light output is simply fantastic, and they look badass, either chrome or painted. Very few aftermarket HID kits can match the reliability and performance of the Machs (which are made by Hella).

They'll run you about $250-500 used depending on condition. Installation is quite easy, it's just some simple wiring to deal with. Details here: http://www.ofoc.ca/hid/
