Actually, that was the ONLY thing I missed about my old car...it was so functional! Once you put them on, you'll wonder how you ever did without them.

I ordered mine through Village Ford (a vendor with this site).
The actual order takes place at www.fordparts.com.

Check out the vendor thread within this site, as there are discounts available as a member of this site.

What/where/when is this Texas Focus Roundup you speak of?

Edit-If you guys are patient they come up once in a while on the for sale section. I picked one up in perfect condition for $50 shipped.

Trust me - you will not regret it. It is soooo much nicer than using a hood prop.

Wow, I did not know that Ford made an engine cover for our cars. I agree that it helps complete the bay. I just ordered one online!

I was contemplating removing the insulation on the underside of mine and adding a heat reflective tape. I did it on my old cbr1000rr where the lower fairing was melting due to the heat of the exhaust. Truth be told the factory put the same insulation material on the lower fairing and it pretty much did nothing for the heat. I didn't have any further issues after adding the heat reflective tape (it's chrome in color). Obviously, the 180 t-stat would be my best option but I'm holding off until the warranty is up for that. These covers get HOT

Looks great! That, and the hood struts will probably be the first mods I make.
