headers install help! I'm stumped

There is this pipe in the way of my exhaust manifold that im trying to take off and I notice on my headers there is not a port for what ever piece this is, I traced where it's going but I don't no enough about engines, so my best guess it's a oil recycle thing but idk. Ill post picks later .

Okayyyy in this picture you will see a silver bar that is in the way of the exhaust so I can't take it off to put my headers on and I can't put it on once they are on. So anyone help? I'm confused

that is the part of your emissions. You must have a PZEV car. The header will not have that provision. You can leave it off, but you will need to vacuum cap off where the hose goes. It should be on the drivers side....right about between the trans and engine....on top. You will also need to unplug your 'air' pump....located in your passenger fenderwell. You may throw a code by doing this, but it will mean nothing. You would not be able to pass emissions until the code is cleared.

I live in Florida so emissions mean nothing to me, and figured ill get a tune to fix everything and help the headers, I'm just shocked I can't find1thing about this on the forms of some one can prove me wrong and show me a link about it cause I would like to do this myself but have no idea where to start.

Ps. I have you rep for talking the time to help, and another question, by disconnecting all this stiff, it won't hurt anything else? I would really like to get my headers to work..

What do you need to know?

Remove exhaust manifold with that silver tube
-follow the hose that was on that tube and remove the black sensor it connected to
-follow the hose on the other side of your sensor that runs to the air pump/evap canister in your passenger wheel well
-remove the pump nd the hose
-tell tuner that you removed that so he turns it off in the tune

easy peasy
