Front tire rubbing strut

I hit a bump/curb getting off the highway the other day and, now, the front driver's side tire is leaning on the strut. I can't tell what part is bent. I took some pics to give you any idea of whats going on. Any ideas? Thank you in advance.

rotate those pics the right way man , something looks broke....... or those shocks are completely blown and springs have sagged.... hows that front control arm look?..... bearings?

I would guess by looking at that you bent the strut and or control arm.

Bingo^^^^^ You bent the strut where it goes into the spindle. The strut is the weakest link which is good vs a arm or mounts. One more reason to stick to easy get, popular struts/coilovers. If that was a H&R, K/W coilover he could of got just that one.

When you get that strut out of the spindle you'll be surprised how bent it is.

Actually you can get a good idea by the proximity of the coils to the tower and also by the way the brake line is sitting. Mine always had a much bigger loop to it than that.

Thanks for all the replies. I apologize for my inability to rotate the pics - I rotated them before I posted but they still turned out wrong (perhaps only horizontal is allowed, idk). It sounds like the strut is bent. Unfortunately, I will probably take the boring route and try to find parts from a salvage yard rather than upgrading. I will post back with some pics (properly aligned) when I have the strut removed. Thanks, again, for the input.

Edit: I figured out how to remove and repost the pictures. Thx for the motivation qweesy.

Well I got the wheel off and the tie rod is bent. Perhaps I'm too optimistic, but it looks like the bent tie rod could cause the strut to lean in too much...nothing else looks bent, yet. I have to get a joint puller and an axle nut socket tomorrow to get a better look at things.

Sorry, a bent tie-rod would only screw up your toe-in.......

Take off the other side and compare.
