Need help! Noise in the rear.

Ok. Well my boss drives a 2006 st. With the sap. Well he came to me asking what the noise in his rear passenger tire would be. I suggested getting his shocks, bushing, etc looked at. He went to a shop and they told him his shocks were leaking.

Well i replaced both rear shocks for him and the noise stopped. His next day to work noise came back. Kinda like a glunk glunk when he reaches anywhere between 40-60 mph. Took it back to the shop he had play in his wheels hub. So we replaced the hub/bearing and so forth. Noise stopped again.

This morning the noise came back. According to him. But I drove it got up to 70 on freeway cruises for a couple miles and nothing.

What are possibilities that we can look at before he has to pay $$$$$$$$$$$ out the butt to get this fixed?

Ok, so you replaced his rear shocks & the top shock bushing is tite. Replaced his his hub/bearing. How are the brakes? And I'll add how are the caliper slides? I had one of the bolts on the rr freeze up & had to buy a reman caliper to get the caliper bracket(sunday, no one around to bleed the brakes) And just for the heck of it, did you look at the rear sway bar links? Just to add I don't like the top rear shock mounts, I took mine out & just used the bushings that came w/ the dampers. It could just be him, listing to all the noises now too. Thats what I was listening too, for noises w/ new pads & a new caliper bracket for a little bit.

Well all bolts are tight. Rotors seem to be a little warped but not too bad. I'm gonna check the bushings tomorrow and I might just take the car from him and see if I ever hear it. I got up to 70 no abnormal vibrations or sounds. So I just don't know.

Where are the spring insulators that go on the top of the springs?
