Where to install Aux port?

Hi there I have the ford aux kit and just wanted some advice on where the best place to install the aux port would be. Pic attached.

I like the lower spot. How do you plan on installing it? Just going to cut a hole out or something fancier?

I like the lower hole too it's just more difficult because behind the rubber is metal.

I'll be using a 20mm hole saw and then slot in the aux port!
