They might be reinforced. I'm not sure what year they started reinforcing them.

Moved to the Suspension area

You would have to check, your model is right around when the change was happening. All aftermarket replacement arms are reinforced. You can tell if a arm is by looking at where the rear sway bar link goes through the arm. If it has a square piece welded around the hole then it's reinforced, if it's just a hole in the arm then it isn't. Anything bigger than the stock sway bar can cause it to crack or break. We did have some members who found out. Luckily they were just pulling in their drive ways when it happened.

Oh and the SVT sway bars front and back are both bigger than the stock sway bars. The front one is just 1mm bigger if I remember right and the rear was 2 or 3 mm bigger.

Ok thanks.. I wonder if it's something I could have reinforced instead of buying all new control arms?

Also would it be best to buy a longer end link for a lowered car? Stock replacement(moog)? Or possibly adjustibles?

Stock moog will work, try them out first...especially if you already have them. Adjustable ones would be more beneficial if you are going much lower or you want some ones that wont wear out (ive not heard of the massive ones failing.)

You asked this earlier but here are the 21mm svt bars with an 18mm bar sandwiched between.

Thanks I appreciate the pics... I think I'm just gonna go with the eibach kits... Has a 22 mm front and 25mm rear I believe... With poly bushings... Just have to verify the control arms are reinforced...

You'll be happy with that setup, im sure.

here is what the reinforced ones look like on my '07. Stick your head down there and you will be able to tell right away:

Depends... I've seen them on here anywhere from 35$ each plus shipping to 100each plus shipping... So it depends on what people are willing to pay for them... For me now that I work for a suspension shop stuff is less expensive for me... Wish it was that way when I bought my current suspension setup...
