How Do I replace my fog light bulbs?

Hey everyone,

I just got my 07 Focus and after looking at a few mods, I decided I wanted to upgrade my clear fog lights, to yellow H11 bulbs.

Anyone know how to do this? everything seems so concealed.

thanks in advance

P.S. I'm loving this little thing! it's so smooth to drive and it's my first auto tranny car. I need it for the hectic traffic I face daily, or else I would have got another manual car

They're pretty straight forward. Remove the radiator lower air deflector by removing the 8 screws and the 5 pin-type retainers. Then you have direct access to the fog light.

Finally got my bulbs yesterday. Did the install. Expect it to be easier, didn't expect I'd have to be under the front of the car, but oh well. At least the bulbs were correct and it all went together rather well.

Overall I'd give the new yellow bulbs a 6/10. I was expecting much brighter output (more yellow) but oh well/

Anyone know how I can delete my daytime running lights so I cna just run parking lights and fogs?

I put mine on a seperate switch.

I found a cheap fog light wiring kit off e-bay.

I tapped it off an accessory fuse for power sunroof which my car doesnt have. This way if i forget to turn them off it will go off with the ignition.

I then ran that to a cheap switch from radio shack.

I ended up just pulling the fuse for my DRL's. I don't need them as my 88 BMW doesn't have them and I've never been stopped for not having my lights on with it.

Gotta admit, rolling around in the foggy mornings traffic with only my parking lights and yellow fogs really gets ppl's attention (good thing). I find it's less blinding on other drivers in oncoming traffic, as well as in their rear-view mirrors, and I can still see reasonably well.
