Question That new car brake feel.....

I've got a 2002 SVT Focus... recently replaced my brakes and by brakes I mean the following:

-2 x rear calipers
-2 x rear rotors
-2 x rear pads
-2 x front rotors
-2 x front pads

Buddy works at ford as a tech and he bled the brakes for me all 4 corners.

I drive and, you just don't get that "new car" brake feeling... the super responsive brake pedal. Is there ANY way to get that back? New brake booster? I've even got the steel braided brake lines and using DOT4 in the car.

Thoughts??

What are the replacement rotors & pads? Do they come up to temp fast or does it take a little bit? New car brake feel= What do you mean? Do they not stop quick or longer distance? How are your tires? Tire pressure?
