Wheel help

2013 Ford Focus Titanium with HP

I would like to put winter tires on alloy wheels because steel wheels are unattractive and I'll have winters on for almost half the year.

My problem is that modern alloys seem to all have a flat face design on the outside of the wheels leaving the inside of the wheel to collect snow and ice, causing issues. What I would like is a nice alloy wheel that had a less pronounced lip on the inside of the wheel for ice and snow to build up on. I was hoping someone could help me with this.

Most flat face WHEELS, not rims, are that way because of the offset, granted some are intentional (fifteen52). TireRack usually has wheels designated as winter wheels. Search there.

Your best bet is to go with the cheapest 16" wheels you can find that you like the looks of and then throw some snow tires on them.

I see the logic in that, in Calgary we have a real warm then cold type weather pattern, ice build up can be very bad on the inside of wheels causing severe vibration and damage even, so I really wanted something that would not hold the snow and ice like in my original description. If I can't find that I'll go steel but it has to be out there.
