Installed a Woodgrain kit

I decided to try the Remin woodgrain dash kit on my Focus SEL. For the most part it went in well. The pieces on the steering wheel are not quite right so I will need to fix that but most of it is pretty good. Not going to be the most popular mod but I like it so far. I can't help it, I like Chrome and woodgrain, LOL! Guess I'm getting old!

It's not my cup o' tea, but I don't think it looks bad.

What was applied? A wrap? Or pre-cut pieces?

It is all precut pieces. 3m adhesive. You just clean with alcohol pad, and use a prep they supply then stick it on. It is thick, about 1/2 mm with a gel like feel, so better than just a sticker. Time will tell how well it lasts but I'm sure if it doesn't you can peel it back off and your back to original.

I got it from CarID, here is a link: http://www.carid.com/2012-ford-focus...ain-dash-kits/

I like the wood and the color of your exterior, not for me thou, never been a fan of wood in cars, but I think that it looks good. Keep on modding and don't forget to have fun!

LOL, wood grain doesn't belong in cars at this end of the spectrum, at least that much of it. I would of gone with something way less loud/contrast of a shade though. Either really dark, or else really light/more natural. That particular shade just stands out way to much.
