Well, this is disheartening... I'll give it a little more time for the clutch to break in before I make any rash decisions.

62k miles? I'd dump the clunker before you have to start paying for the transmission problem yourself.

He's got the extended service contract for 125k miles, so he's still got another 63 k or so miles to go before hitting that point.
