08 Focus SES

Ok, I've got an 08 SES sedan, and I've already hooked up 2 12 inch subs in the trunk using the stock head unit (along with a line out converter). I'd really like to replace the stock head unit, but keep my sync and steering wheel controls. If anyone could point me in the right direction as to what I need to do that, that'd be great. Heck, if anyone has suggestions as to a good head unit I'm all ears as well.

Hey man, for the steering wheel controls you'd need one of these:

just need to wire the head unit toe the adapter and then it's pretty much plug and play

for keeping the sync you'd need this:

I just did the steering wheel controls because the head unit I bought has bluetooth for phone and music in it anyway so no point in having two systems plus the sync adapter is expensive.

yeah it's not the cheapest thing to keep sync and controls, but it can be done. benefits of an aftermarket headunit are worth it to me. but i went with a remote instead of keeping the steering wheel controls.
