You are free, of course, to start a separate thread about Hyundais and/or about Estonia. This thread is about neither of those.
Ok I get that you do not see the merit of my posts. But the OP's thread was about why North American Focus is not offered with some of the features offered in Europe.

I was assuming the "unfortunate" transmission was the DCT. I can't imagine someone complaining about the MTX-75, it's a great transmission. Sure it's no good for people that need to compare specs, but it's nice.

19% VAT in Europe... Is it applicable in all EU?

Yeah, I assumed that also. I just wanted to point out that the 2.0 isn't always paired with an "unfortunate" transmission, as it seemingly was implied by the post I was quoting.

Actually, he was talking specifically about Germany. As another friend of ours from Denmark pointed out, a similar vehicle in his country stickers for over $50,000. You seem to insist on talking about Hyundais in Estonia.

Now, I did just look on Ford of Estonia's website and it appears that in Estonia a Fiesta costs more than a Focus does in the US.

The Hyundai reference was used to squash the excuse of euro car features offered in USA would cost too much. I do believe I read posters saying that Ford USA does not offer some content from the Euro Focus, and the excuse given was because it would drive the cost up too high for Americans, but Hyundai somehow accomplishes this. Helloooooooo is that clear for you now.
And I use Hyundai/Kia because they are the only company I can see offering their global high content cars the same way in the USA.

Hyundai doesn't accomplish anything. The Genesis Coupe, for example, starts at 40,000EUR in Germany. Starts at 40,000EUR. Not tops out at 40,000EUR, starts at 40,000EUR. So, you didn't squash anything. Can we get past Estonia now, please?
