Would you like a Ford Focus Coupe?

I ran across this article. It can be found here: http://carscoop.blogspot.com/2011/07...-study-by.html

How would you feel about a possible Ford Focus Coupe? I know it is a design study at this moment, but just curious.

No, at least not if that rendering was the final design. But 3 door hatch FTW!

That looks way too much like a Honda Crx to me. Also I'm not sure if this would be a good idea price-wise. Teenagers and people in their early 20's primarily buy coupes, but since the Focus costs more than it used to that demographic isn't as readily buying. The Fiesta has taken its place for the most part.
I feel like a budget-minded focus coupe would be too stripped down to compete with established coupes like the Scion TC and Civic, and a loaded up one would cost as much as a V6 Mustang, so really whats the point?

I agree and also it looks like the rear compartment may not have enough room for kids. That is why I voted no in the poll and five other people agree with me so far.

Voted no. Not because I wouldn't like a coupe, but because this coupe is U-G-L-Y from the B pillar back. I'd love a coupe based on the current sedan or a 3 door based on the current hatch though.

Ditto. The rendering looks like an Eclipse. Hot hatch would be good.

It would be cool having a Focus convertable. But I think the 3 door hatch will be the big winner.

I wouldn't be interested in a Focus two-door. But if they designed something completely different yet familiar on the same platform, like a Capri, that would be cool.

I vote no too. Two thumbs up for the 3 door though.
