buy multi point inspection before warranty work

At 33000 called one of my local dealers to schedule check for coolant leak before warranty runs out. I stated that coolant goes below min about .5 to 1 inch and it been topped off 3 times once by them. She stated that unless a light is on it can not come in unless I purchase a inspection for 29.00. I explained to her that it won't trip the light if does at all unless it goes way down, but I have had it topped off 3 times, and its a sealed system it could be a leak or its being burnt off (head gasket). Got nowhere so I said I'll call another dealer which gladly made appointment for the day I requested. They lost me forever.

Let me know how your appointment goes, riparke. If you need me to step in and assist, send me a PM with your VIN, dealer, mileage, daytime phone number, and full name.

Crystal

You don't have to buy anything go to another dealer right away tell them you need a new radiator cap.

The dealer I bought mine from tried the same thing and always no problem found they did replace the whole front end just about in there words for clunk in front (hand to take then on a test drive to show them that) leaving there lot. Funny thing two weeks later back, also set toe because steering wheel was off center on drifting on highway other dealer did alignment all was way out front and back.

Took the car to another dealer replaced clutch pack and oil seal (slipping), radiator cap, (coolant doing same as yours) and 4 wheel alignment for 60.00 not 96.00 like original dealer.

End of story I'm done with them after warranty is up aftermarket or home made and any defective parts will be taken to Ford corporate office for refund... LOL
