Australian Focus Exhaust

Hey guys,

Does anyone know if the Australian '13 FoFo's exhaust is the same as the American?

That is, would one of the FSWerks or Magnaflow's exhausts fit onto an Australian model?

Thanks!!!

Are you going custom, or?

I was quote like $1800 for a magnaflow fitted over here, it's ridiculous.

wowzer!!! thats ridiculous.. dont go to that place!!!
If i wanted a magnaflow system then it'd be 600$

That is custom ofcourse... dont get the premade magnaflow imo...would cost too much to ship it here.. and if you want to go all out.. get a custom miltek bolt on (ST style).

But in terms of money and savings.. in melbourne i can get a dual exhaust stainless steele based on magna flow components for 800$ fitted.

another thing, how many kms have u done?? Im only on 8000 kms... owning it for over 2-3 months now.. in my opinion, you bought thecar brand new..may aswell get use out fo the stock exhaust, because youl still be wearing it in...

So im waiting till next year once ive done about 25 000 kms. And im looking at putting in a steeda CAI instead of exhaust first..

Yeah, see I've had the car since April and done just over 4000kms (I don't drive much). I'm just trying to suss out what the best option will be for an exhaust when it comes to that.

And you're right, shipping is over half the price of most exhausts (looking at the FSWerks exhaust that is).

The thing is, you could buy the fswerks exhaust off the site, and if you can weld it on yourself its alright. As soon as you bring in parts + labour it becomes more expensive immedietly.
