I use 93 too.
If gas prices are really high.. I can put in a few gallons of regular to 'top off' (say 3 or 4 gallons) and be happy. As long as next time I fill with 93 again.
I usually do not go down to empty before i fill it up.

I know that feel, Juicedz, I'm from San Antonio, TX as well. I drive an Acura TL at the moment and paying for premium can be tough sometimes. I'm really wanting to sell and get a Focus to run 87. The cheapest I've found is $3.51 for 93 at the HEB on 410/Jackson Keller. I think 87 was going for $3.19, not too terrible of a spread...

Yeah, we have a dime spread from regular to mid grade to premium here, too.

My girl out in W. Texas shot a picture for me this morning. $3.02/g (87) and $3.32/g (93). Seriously?

Oh wow, super cheap out West. I am thankful I don't live in the Northeast or Cali.

Yes, it is trending downwards right now. It's currently $3.13 in my area for 87 (3.46 for 93) and is expected to fall another 15-20 cents.

The downward trend needs to come west bound.

The downward trend needs to continue period. Here in Louisiana I've seen 3.11 as the cheapest today. not that, that does me much good as I always run shell or chevron 93. I paid 3.79 earlier. But either way, I'm glad to see that gas has been slowly falling even through the summer. Maybe all these more fuel efficient vehicles they are forcing upon us are actually using less fuel so now they are selling less and have to drive the prices down. Its a big maybe but hey, A man can dream.
