Premium Gas Gouging

I filled up today with Shell V-Power since I'm running Injected's 93 octane tune. Normally, I try to avoid paying a .40 cent price hike for the 93 octane versus the 87 octane by watching gas prices. However, when filling up today I glanced across the street at the Exon gas station. 87 was $3.47 and 93 octane was $4.01! Now I know gas prices are higher in other parts of the country but a .50 cent increase for premium gas, come on I remember the difference being .25-.30 cents not too long ago. Talk about taking it in the rear for getting better performance and treating your car better

Still about a .24 diff here in Colorado between regular and premium.

This is why I don't analyze the pricing. I push the 93 button, squeeze the trigger until it clicks, round up the dollar and leave. Any more thought is a waste of my time because there's nothing I can do about it.

94 is around $1.50-1.60 a liter ($5.68-6.06 per gallon).

In the Northern VA region, we're running about a .40-.50 difference between Regular and Premium. That's a whopping $5ish on a full tank. Considering how much I'm saving over driving my truck ($60+ fill-ups each week!), I don't worry about it.

There are certain stations in town that I know to avoid because they jack up the price of premium more than others. Their loss I guess.

HA.

$2.49/gallon @ last fillup.

So why is it you have a 93 tune?
Filter and bolt-ons won't necessitate that you run it.

If you're not getting better fuel economy (MPG) your cost per mile will be higher and you're just throwing money out the window.
So check that stuff first and then complain to yourself.

My car has a problem, I think it is addicted to G-A-S, how can I get it to stop?
