Diablo Predator & Tom's Tune Rocks !!!!!!

I received Tom's masterfully tuned Predator yesterday and I must say what a difference this thing makes. I knew from reading other peoples experiences with tom's tune I couldn't go wrong. From the moment I put the fuses 46 & 61 back in the fuses box and started my car i knew something was different. No more bogging and it has more mid range HP & torque. Tom is truly a genius when it comes to tuning these cars. If you thinking of getting one of these Tom is the only way to go !!!!! Remember you will never regret buying the best !!

Yet another satisfied customer.....I'm curious, did Tom fix the T/C program loading issue by pulling those fuses? In other words, did you have to use the bench flasher, or did you go through the OBDII port?

Either way, best bang for your buck mod-wise, no doubt. All the addition power, PLUS no more surging. Can't beat that.

I didn't use a bench flasher, i just pulled the 2 fuses pluged it into the ODBII port and let it do its thang.
It cost $ 515.

I am looking forward to getting one too!! I have been trying to decide on whether to wait for the FS SCT or to go with Tom's version wondering if it is worth the extra 2 bills as I am on a budget :-)

awesome....I was one of the first to get the tune, and at that time Tom would ship a "bench flasher" that would connect the predator directly to the ECU to flash it. I'm glad he figured out an alternative method, because I was concerned about how I would swap flashes back to stock if i ever wanted to, without the benchflasher. It was also a pain to have to ship the benchflasher back....this is good news, though. Thanks for sharing! So, you just plugged into the OBDII port and cycled the ignition key from OFF to ON a few times? How long did the load take like that?

If you're on a budget, you might want to consider the McNew's SCT flasher ($325 i think). My understanding is that McNew's and Tom developed the same program together, so you'll be getting the same tune with either box. It really depends on whether or not you want/need the extra fuctionality that comes with the Diablo Predator (datalogging, etc.).
