Bridgestone Potenza S-04 feedback??

Have been running the Continentak DW tires and love them. Awesome grip especially in the wet and really good tread life. Only downside has been sidewalls were kinds soft. So now I'm finally needing new tires and am considering the S-04's since the price is about the same but the S-04's are rated higher for wet/dry traction with a lot better cornering. Only downside is a little shorter tread life. Was wondering if anyone has run the S-04's and how they liked them?????

Thanks.

I'm running them right now and they are freaking awesome! Best tires I've ever had as long as you stay off the snow haha

No chance of real snow here in the south LOL. Think I'm going to give them a try.

Used to work for Bridgestone and they sent me down to what the call a drive and learn. Drove around some brand new bmws with different sets of tires on a wet track and the S-04s outperformed everything by a long shot.

Decided to go ahead and order these. Spoke with Butch at Tire Rack who got me all set up. He even mentioned there will be a $70 rebate on these tires starting 9/1 so he is holding my order until then so I can qualify for the rebate! Now I get to save $70 that I wasn't expecting to get to save :)

Had other pressing expenses that HAD to come b4 my tires so I had to wait to get these. Finally saved enough to get these. I'm almost worn down in the front and even had to temporarily put on my stock wheels with all season tires in the rear. Makes for some interesting handling right now through turns lol. But new tires will be here by the end of next week and then I can also install my Massive rear toe arms and camber arms :)

We had just dropped my car 1.5" about 6 weeks ago. Started to notice some bad wear on one of my rear tires which went down to the chord on the inside edge only. Definitely need an alignment. So I switched to the stockers in the rear temporarily until I could get the new tires then will put on the toe/camber arms so the rear can be dialed in and no more wear issues.

love em

Put them on my 04 SVT a couple weeks ago - the Dunlop's were SHAGGED, R.I.P. they had a good life.

I keep pushing them harder and harder, and even in the rain, all I get is "Is that all ya got?!"

Yes, I have a set of snows/wheels in the shed just in case it actually snows in Seattle this winter.
Can't wait, actually... Bwaaahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
