which engine model

hey guys, I was wondering how I can tell if I have the PZEV or not.
the adapter that holds the MAF is broken and I need to replace it. I was trying to buy one online to save a few bucks but I don't know which one is right since there are a few choices listed. I have a 2012 hatch flex fuel, and I am from Ontario Canada. the part number should be 9b647

Can you look up the part number by VIN? That should give you the right part, PZEV vs. regular.

Otherwise, I guess the only surefire way I know to tell is to count catalytic converters. PZEV= 2 CATs.

Yeah use the VIN if possible but there is a sticker on the underside of the hood that should note it as well.

Or you can look under the center of the car in the tunnel. PZEV models have a second cat in front of the first muffler.

Nope. All the MK3 have the same intake which is different than our previous Gen.

That's the flex-fuel (E85) compatible engine which can't be confused with the partial zero emissions vehicle since none of the E85 compatible motors meet the vapor loss requirements when running ethanol.
