Question need some help with 2.0 tumbler flaps..

Idk if this has been talked about much before but I'm considering a tumbler flap delete due to the good things I've heard about it. I'm just wondering if it can be done without a tune? The actuator on mine has been unhooked for several months now and hasn't thrown a cel so I know I won't have an issue there...just don't know if it will affect the engine at idle deleting the flaps. Any info would be great

What'd you do? Disconnect the actuator arm & tie wrap the flaps open? Or did you remove the actuator & disconnect the arm & let it hang there & tie wrap the flaps open?

You could pull the vacum line going to the vacum switch (for the imrc) on the intake manifold & drive around & see what you think. The mil will come on & you'll get a code of 2004, which you can turn off, when you hook it back up.

Pull the vacum line at the electrical switch at the top of the motor. You'll see the vacum line at the front of the I/M.
