Question Exedy lightweight flywheel ZF502 compatible with Exedy OEM clutch kit FMK 1009??

I was wondering if anybody knows if the Exedy lightweight racing flywheel part # ZF502 is compatible with the Exedy OEM replacement clutch kit part #FMK 1009, or is my only option the recommended Exedy OEM flywheel part # FWFMF06?? This is going on my 2005 Focus sedan ZX4 2.0 and I already bought the clutch kit off Ebay. If anyone out there in Focus land knows or has either one of these let me know asap I need to make a decision by this weekend so we can get my car running. There's only a difference in price of about $50-$60 between the two on Ebay. The OEM weighs 17 lbs and the racing flywheel weighs 12.5, both much better than the stock 30 lbs dual mass flywheel. Also will I see any power or acceleration gains with the lightweight flywheel vs. the OEM flywheel??

I've got the lightweight flywheel with the stage one clutch. You'll hear chatter from it though during idle. Car sounds like a lawnmower while idling.

I'd say the oem flywheel is designed for the oem pressure plate/ disc combo & the lighter flywheel is for the the stage one & higher pressure plate/ disc combo of the higher performance clutchs. DD, I'd stick w/ the oem one piece flywheel. When I need a clutch kit, I'm installing Exedy's oem kit. As you said its lighter then the oem d/m flywheel. And I have a few mods also. CFM has these kits w/ the flywheel. Don't forget to add a throw out bearing to your order.

@ GBear - that sucks something doesn't sound right there. You might want to have that clutch looked at.

@ Felixthecat - that's what I was thinking too was to keep everything OEM so I don't run into any problems. I did look at cfm and was planning on purchasing their set, until I realized I could get a better deal on Ebay. Got my clutch kit with slave cylinder at a steal for $130 brand new. My brother used nothing but exedy OEM clutch kits on two different boosted civics both pushing 300+hp and they held up great with no problems whatsoever. So are you using the exedy OEM flywheel as well or a lightweight flywheel?

I'd use the oem replacement w/ the Exedy's oem 1 peice flywheel & the stage 1 w/ the lighter flywheel. Do you really need the stage 1 clutch for a street car? DD the exedy oem kit is the way to go. The exedy 1 peice flywheel gets rid of the dm flywheel, which gets rid of rotation weight.
