total cost is unfortunately not a type. This is due to first supercharged setup melting a piston and then several different turbo setups. No real expense spared on the parts either.

you paid 18k for a newly built engine and turbo kit...you got scammed, son. for that much, should've gotten like 3-4 engines and turbo kits...

11000 for audio equipment and a few cameras? either you're exaggerating or, again, you got ripped off.

in fact, all those categoried prices seem inflated or someone took you to pound town.

I mean, the outside is nice and clean and all, but that engine bay and inside....not so much.

Engine bay: looks more like a 2k engine and turbo kit...if you did spend 18k on the engine and kit, I wouldn't tell anyone. its not even clean.

interior: Come on man, if your gonna supposedly spend that much on a car, as least take the few minutes to neatly install whatever that is around the console, and not have exposed wires...just looks trashy and ghetto-rigged.

but it looks nice as long as you keep the doors shut, windows up and hood closed :)

I'll give you this though...those seat belt delete covers are pretty nice. What the final tune come out to power-wise?

Its not just a turbo....the only thing that is from original SVT was the Block...TOM built the complete motor ground up and turbo and intercooler and exhaust...Tuning was a bitch because of SCT...but its done...I can show you receipts...I am quite sure I got taken to the bank on some things...but I did a shitload of work...took 2 years to build this car...I agree on the wire issue...its being corrected...havent cleaned the engine bay yet as I am still breaking in the car....but...right now...it puts down 355hp to the wheels...it has a posi front end and it friggen screams....I toasted a modded S4 last night from 55 to infinity...I know Ill never get the money back but I dont care...the budget was unlimited till I get what i want the way I want it...when I say it was done...i mean engine, trans and turbo...the stereo is getting ripped out again and put in the way I want it...just need to save a few more commision checks...

I mean.. if it makes you happy.. but for $53k..

You could have had:
R32 Golf/Golf R
Corvette
90's Porsche 911
MS3/MS6
Lotus Elise/Exige
M3/M5

And those are just the ones I can rattle off the top of my head. And would have all been much more fun and/or powerful with the leftover money spent on mods.

But again. If it makes you happy. Your money. Not mine. But I definitely would have gone a different route.
