One word of advice... don't let the battery go dead. and if it's time to replace it, keep in mind it needs to be an AGM battery (absorbed glass mat) and they go by Ah rating. You also have to have the battery coded to the DME (BMW's ecm). If you don't, it will take out the alternator.

Technically it's an E92. E90 is the sedan, E91 the wagons, and E93 are the convertibles. Useless trivia you pick up once you're on the forums.

No worries guys. Yeah, this is the E92 engine.

No engine mods in the near future ... mainly looking for some nice show wheels that's it. I did forget to mention that the owner prior to me did add the Dinan tune to the ride. It pulls a whole lot harder than the standard 335i. More than enough really.

I was thinking of a blow-off valve ... but holy hell, it's expensive for this ride at the moment.

So, wheels, regular maintenance and keeping her clean are my main goals.

Oh yeah you've got the N54 engine. Direct Injected. keep the right oil in it and it will be happy. I think that's what causes the high pressure fuel pump failures in these (yeah they're driven off one of the cams).
